91575916You’ve probably heard of transatlantic cruises, and you might have even considered taking one from the United States to some of the beautiful cities on the Mediterranean Sea or the eastern Atlantic Ocean. Some cruise lines offer transpacific cruises, as well. There are various itineraries available, and they might last anywhere from two weeks to over a month. If you would like to consider taking some time to explore the part of the world on the Pacific Ocean, here are some cruising options to think about:

        • Hawaii to Australia with Royal Caribbean  If you would like to visit the South Pacific but don’t have several weeks to spend, consider flying to Honolulu and boarding the Radiance of the Seas this fall. With the highest percentage of cabin rooms of any of Royal Caribbean’s fleet and a gorgeous 10-story glass centrum with glass elevator, you’ll be able to spend lots of time seeing all that the southern Pacific has to offer. After leaving Honolulu, you’ll visit French Polynesia for a few days, then sail off to New Zealand and, finally, Sydney, Australia.

        • China to Alaska With Celebrity Cruises  Perhaps the northern Pacific is more to your liking. If so, the 15-night transpacific cruise from Shanghai, China to Seward, Alaska, might be perfect for you. You’ll leave Shanghai and will enjoy stops in Japan and Russia aboard the Celebrity Millenium. Some new features on the ship include spa-inspired staterooms, a fun new martini bar, and an iLounge to help you stay connected to home.

        • Los Angeles to Japan With Holland America  Starting off on the west coast of the United States? If you’d like to visit Japan, with stops in Hawaii, the Marshall Islands, Guam and the Marianas Islands, consider this 21-night transpacific cruise aboard Holland America’s Amsterdam. During your days at sea, you’ll always have something to do, whether that’s learning to cook at the culinary arts center, enjoying a game of tennis, or sitting back and watching a film in the ship’s full-size movie theater.

        • Round Trip From Sydney With Princess Cruises  The Sea Princess itinerary is a round-trip beginning and ending in Sydney, Australia. The trek will take 35 days, and includes ports of call in Hawaii, Tahiti, Bora Bora and more. On this fantastic cruise, you’ll have plenty of time to simply sit back, relax and enjoy the ship. Your days can be packed with entertainment, or feel free to just schedule spa treatments and float around in the pools.

Transpacific cruising gives you a luxurious trip that can’t be duplicated elsewhere. Not only is cruising itself stress-free and inclusive, but the nature of such a long cruise gives you a lot of downtime that is essential for deep relaxation, punctuated with gorgeous ports of call and interesting excursions.
